"And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger" (John 2:7).
Today we celebrate that the God of the universe chose to take on human form, coming to the Earth in the lowliest of ways, born in a manger to an unexpecting couple. He could have come in any way he wanted, in any glorious and miraculous fashion, but he chose to come in a way that could relate to each and every human. God was personal in his earthly entry because He knows us all personally. He's known your name since before He created the Earth, knows all your desires, wishes, and flaws, and loves you so much that he came to be one of us for a short time. This Christmas, I'm so thankful for the greatest gift that I'm certainly not worthy of, that my Lord came to be my Savior, wrapped in swaddling cloths to become the sacrificial lamb for all people.
Merry Christmas, and God bless you and your families this season🕊
